Just wondering what kinda stuff you guys have eaten. No pussy stuff like ohh I ate some sushi, thats raw fish you know!
For me it was when I was a little boy. Me and my friends were playing with a big stick and Scruffy was accidently hit in the head. I told mom and she picked him up and went into the chicken... jk (or am I?......jk)
One of the things that comes to mind is balupe or whatever they call it. Duck eggs with a baby fetus inside. Not quite an egg , not quite a baby. Ive eaten frog legs in some restaurant. They really do taste like chicken, cow tongue, pig intestine, ox tail (friend thought it was crazay.. sounds normal to me), chicken feet

If they slice it up raw and serve it as sashimi, I've eaten it. My favorite was the "Tuna boat tradition": Your first tuna caught, the deckhand reaches in behind the gills, and rips the still-beating heart out of the tuna, and you you eat it; still beating.
In addition:
Menudo (beef tripe soup, preferably w/beef feet) regularly
Tripas (fried pig intestines)
Pickled pig's feet
Snake
Porcupine
Raw quail eggs
Bananas (gross!)
Then we get into some of the really wierd shit that they make you eat during survival training...:scared: :scared: :puke:

weird gross etc etc is subjective
bout the only "weird" thing I have ever eaten has a story behind it
in tijuana there are a bunch of stalls that have big signs that say fish taco.. I hate fish.. I finally found one that just said taco...
rather stupid of me I know.. no disclosure or anything... long story short, it was cat
wasn't too bad really

ah no fair!! Asian guys always win the strange food contests :)
as Chow Yun-Fat said in The Corruptor
Nick Chen: Beef intestine noodle?
Danny Wallace: Uh, no.
Nick Chen: You wanna be Chinese, you gotta eat the gross stuff.
Ah I only eat bland food... If it's interesting or even has any flavor, odds are I don't eat it.. Only thing crazy stuff is popcorn I found in the stands with no idea who's it was one time.. Maybe stuff that drops on the ground but then I still eat it..
Oh and of course if you cut off the moldy part of the bread, rest is still good!!

My freshman year of high school, a french class assignment was to cook something french for the class. A friend and I asked the teacher for a recommendation, and he suggested cow brains. After searching most of the local area, we managed to find some brains at Mike's (?) Discount Foods at the corner of El Camino and Mission. We cooked them, brought them to class and distributed them. We called them 'sweetbreads' until everyone took at least a little bite.
It's going to be great if we gave everyone Mad Cow disease.
Lets see...
Cow tounge
Giant grasshoppers (Thailand)
Live Crab (Mikuni, Fair Oaks)
Live Squid (Singapore)
All kinds sushi ans sashimi
Kangaroo steak (Brisbane, Australia)
3 Mile Island wings (fuckers are HOT) @ Hooters
Chinese Ornamental Egg, the rotten ones (Chin Hae, ROK)
Deep Fried ice cream (more weird than anything)
Goat Steak - a.k.a. Mutton (India)
Monkey on a stick (it was really beef) (Thailand)
I know I'm forgetting some...

Must... resist... taking.... thread..... into gutter.... LOL
Ok, whew, I resisted....
I can't say I'm too adveturous when it comes to eating. If it isn't dead and burnt beyond recognition or some sort of bread or pastry type thing, odds are I won't eat it. However, I do enjoy some combinations of foods others find odd or distrubing. I don't know why on some of them, but whatever...
Mac & Cheese w/ ketchup
Peanut Butter and Chocolate Ice Cream (it's a flavor at B&R for crying out loud, what's the problem?)
Hash Browns and Fried Eggs mixed and beaten into a mashy substance
Hamburgers, Mashed Potatoes, Gravy and Corn mixed together into a gelatinous mass
Popcorn and Junior Mints
