HD trailers are really choppy on my system. Is something wrong with my PC, do I not have enough power, am I supposed to pay for Quicktime Pro?

My money's on the video card. I don't think an XP3000 should have any problems.

my money is on streaming off of the external hard drive.......the USB-ATA adaptor won't support the data rate needed....

I don't stream much off that drive. It's mostly for long-term storage. uncompressed DVD's play fine off it, and I've run PSX ISO's off of it without major problems either.
Nah, the HD content is read from a 7200 RPM ATA133 (may be 166, would have to look at the POST screen) drive. So is it the hard drive or should I upgrade my graphics card (which I know is a bit dated).
