I swear one of THE n00b'est things is when someone has a kickass home theater set up and wants to show it off.. Soooooooooooooooo then they grab for the "basket of remotes".. sigh... then they pick up a pokerhands worth of remotes and shuffle past them get the cd player off, the tv on, the DVD on, the the the the...

GOOOOOOOOOOOOOD LORD!! You dropped $$$$ on all that gear and did not spend the $$ to get rid of that crap?!!? Ok find, you're a little bitch and don't want to drop $$$ for one of the more pimp remotes but come one now, even a cheapy $50 one will kill off at least 1/2 of them..

of course I have always wanted a Philips Pronto but they are too much $$$ for me so I got a Sony RM-AV2000 (http://www.remotecentral.com/sony/index.html) and I don't even have any sort of pimp set up.. Just a bunch of devices and a true hate for hunting the "right" remote out of the cheezy basket'O remotes...
