Yeah I know. It says "Anasazi is God"
Better not be no rave scene, that was stupid...
I gave it a 6 out of 10. Great action, the 30 minute battle for Zion was the shit, but still a little lacking in the brain stimulating story that got me tied up in the whole trilogy.
There was a little bit of nacho cheese with the Neo Vs. Smith fight and the ending didn't really answer many of the questions posed in the earlier movies.
Look at the final statement in the first movie "I'll show them a world without you (talking about the machines)" and then look at what happened. GIVE ME A FUCKING BREAK! Yay, Neo saved the day, but we're still stuck in this Zion fuckin sewer while the machines still rule the world??? If homedude sacrifices himself, then the machines should have turned back into toasters and then the freaks from below could reclaim the fucked up world and make it better.
It just didn't go down like I wanted it to. Good action, but less than totally satisfied.

Plot holes aside, this movie had some amazing action scenes. As Hoss alluded to, the defense of Zion was simply amazing. Try watching it on IMAX and prepare to be blown away.
The movie had a feel of being rushed through with lots of plot holes and weirdness. I'm waiting for the extended-DVD that will (hopefully) have the missing plot stuff that was cut to save time.

I would have to agree with Hoss. The movie had some sweet action scenes. Especially with the machines in Zion. Badass. But as an ending movie of the trilogy it just tried to rush through everything as quick as possible. I also wished that thier would have been more hand to close quarters combat like in the first and second, but oh well....

Action was good, but nothing got wrapped up like it should have. I mean, in the end, the machines still have the matrix and control everyone inside like before. The only thing that changed is that the few people down in zion aren’t dead. Ok, so they are no better off than they were before. Machines still control the world, control the matrix; neo is dead AND they even got him to get rid of their only real problem. If anything I’d say the machines “won”. Wasn’t the entire point to the first movie that everyone in the matrix was going to be “free” and Neo was going to do it? Seems like in the 2nd and 3rd movie they don’t even give half a shit about the billions of people in the matrix anymore. In the end I guess the entire matrix trilogy reminds me of that Time machine movie that came out a year or so ago. The beginning was great and very intriguing and then all of a sudden it’s a movie about some Indians vs. evil? Ok… Well at least the action scenes were good, just wish we could see more of a continuation of the first movie than these last two movies that kinda went off on their own little plot.

No shit. It's kind of like the Warchowski brothers spent a year or so coming up with this badass story, made the first movie and it was a hit. Then some fucking worthless piece of shit democratic Hollywood fuck came along and said, "Here's a shitload of money, now make the next two movies ghey as fuck and "family compliant", "
Come on now, the bad guys ALWAYS loose, the good guy get's to bone the chick, big explsions, cool effects, big guns and tight asses.
Those are the rules, they didn't follow all of them, therefor their movie sucked.
What's worse if I bet they left the ending sort of "open" to leave room for some fuckin retarded TV series or something. Watch, it'll happen.

Personally I am not really impressed with Matrix Revolutions.
It was OK, however, the movie leaned more toward effects and action than a good story. And wtf happened to the Oracle? I expect they had a problem with her just like they did with Tank and got her out of the movie.
I don't know, I just feel that just like Terminator, Predator--they all had the first movie come out as an amazing movie with a plot that can go very deep, and all of them DO NOT have as much action, explosions, sexy girls unlike all of their follows ups.
Just take a look at the French's guy scene in this 3rd movie. LOL wtf? Ok, they showed enough asses, and an interesting party;now back to the story please. He doesn't even look like a guy who would surround himself with such society. Everyone wore something unusual, or had tons of tattoes, or had "sex master" mask on, I thought that was kind of funny. I don't have anything against them wearing that, but the picture itself DID NOT add up to French guy's taste. It just didn't go together there and the French's guy suite.
Overall I might like this movie more than the 2nd one, but it cannot beat the first one, no sir.

As for GNR commenting about machines being in victory already, I sort of disagree. Smith is out of control and can get to everyone in the matrix, then go beyond and spread out of the matrix system into all the machines. He is on the rampage killing both humans and machines.
Machine city is connected all together including hte machines themselves, or that's what I would assume.
Machines knew Smith was now unstoppable and any program who got in his way couldn't do much to stop him. *SPOILER: In fact, it seemed as if Neo himself couldn't stop him untill he realized some things and let himself be converted to Smith.
But then on the other hand, in one of the previous movies I remember machines commenting that they are ready to take the concequences as far as possible to defeat humans, even if it means to end their own existence without any power left.
Anyhow...we could probably argue over this for a long time.

If they do make another one, it'll be a cheesy rip off. We know Fishburn is done, he said on some interview he wasn't going to do anymore Matrix movies. I would assume the same is true for Reeves and Moss...

I'm pretty sure a years from now, well after the main people have moved on, we will see some sort of "Tales from the Matrix"
Having nothing to do with the war, the past, neo, the fight, nothing at all.. Ya just take a plain action film with some spy like twist but just plop it into the Matrix world. NOT the real world and Matrix but 100% in the Matrix and act like the real world is not even there..
so you get the bad guys and they find out some how they can break some of the rules and then the good guys find out.. Story plays out only for the plot points NOT the whole matrix lore. Sort of like WWII films set in WWII that have nothing to DO with winning WWII.. Errrr like Indiana Jones is for example.
Only reason I can see this NOT happening is if the rights to the name Matrix etc are too high and one could more or less take any story and FX it up for no good reason for WAY cheaper.. Ya know sort of like how Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle is now.
Depends on who owns the rights to the story too. Say what you want about lucus but he locked down Star Wars to what he wants. Vs say Star Trek that is a big fat WHORE when it comes to spinning off any and everything.. I for one hope the Matrix just ends here at the 3 movies.

Lamb, have you seen the animatrix? Cause that's pretty much what it is, a bunch of short stories that somehow involve the matrix.

yeah most of it.. at least the part they put on the net by way of the main Matrix site... I still need to rent the DVD...
still, that is more or less what I think will happen to any spin off's from the film.. but I don't think we will see any for at least 5 years.... The franchise is too hot and worth too much to risk burning it out in rapid straight to vid level films..
Hum... maybe a neo the hacker years prequel? that would be cheap... cast some unknow to play a 18 year old neo..
