Is Comcast going to be switching to 3mb downloads?

I found this (http://www.dslreports.com/forum/remark,8280108~root=comcast~mode=flat) on a different forum.

Anyone know anything about it?

Someone at modestolan just got comcast, he's getting 3mbit down and like 344k up (if I read his screenshot right, they label that as "storage"). He says he's only paying $20 a month.

When comcast came out to turn on the cable at my new house, I asked the guy about the 3mbit stuff, he said it was a premium service carrying an increased price.

Xwred1 $20 is an introductory price for 6 months and than it goes up to $39 or $45
