Call of Duty demo

Just installed and started the Call of Duty demo. Looks pretty cool so far

I played the Demo. Kick ass game. Gonna knock the socks off of Medal of Honor. Hopefully will get the full version tomorrow. If i do get it i will tell you what i think of it so far. :D

It is basically like Medal of Honor because they are the same people who did Call of Duty just with better graphics. Multiplayer is almost the same thing as that

From what I played today (only 1 map heh) it was pretty fun. I never played MOH though, so I cant compare which is really better. I want to to how the game mode, behind enemy lines is like. Did not have enough people today to test it out

ok well we tested it out at small house lan today.. around 8 players.. The game is "ok" it does very much seem like MOH with a SOFII twist to it.. sort of kind of.. I think it will get some LAN play but it not going to be a BF1942 sort of "fav"... It just not that great...

the good: Maps looks great and speed seems more of a throw back to the classic run and gun, you can drop out off the 2nd story of a building live, take a bunch of hits, no limping and so on... The map seem a bit smaller and maybe even more simple then BF1942's but they do have great cover.. Every map has lots of duck and fight areas..

the death cam is PIMP in this game.. It give you a replay of your death, from the eyes of the player who killed ya.. The whole time with a "YOU" over your head and an arrow. This is GREAT.. you can see if they saw you, or are just a POS lamer like active monkey and watched a door. Heck it just funny over all.. Great idea being you can just skip it if ya want to spawn quick..

pretty good mix as far as running hurting your aim Vs doing the "sight down the barrel" thing as you can do in bf1942.. this lets ya aim and move slow.. Even better, when laying on the ground you can't spin around, very limited range of motion to make up for the much better aim.. this is GREAT!! Again, for lamers like active monkey who think spining around on their belly to snipe all game is "cool".. Ya know your a POS when games start to BUILD IN ways to stop you from playing in the style you like to play.. GET A CLUE.. sigh..

Behind enemy lines mode is fun also.. You have a number of "hunted" players.. They get a bit more health and better weapon.. Then a BUNCH of "hunters" go after them, the range changes due to how many are on the servers.. Say 2 vs 6 etc... The hunters get a radar that shows them the direction the hunted are in.. You ONLY get points for saying alive when you are one of the hunted, kills do NOT count, only time.... so you run and try to hide or find a good place to fight off every one.. If you find the other "hunted" players you can work as team... Soons as a hunter kills on of the hunted, the hunter respawns as a person getting hunted.. More or less like tag..

Best of all, you can kill people all platoon stlye with the gun butt of ever weapon and it's like one hit one kill.. Find a lamer sniper, crack them in the head once, dead sniper..

the bad: g'nads take like 10 sec to go off or at least x3 longer then BF1942.. so you really end up spamming them too much.. No real skill being you can't really throw and BOOM.. Very limited weapons.. Like 4 and 2 of them are sort of worthless.. You move faster with lighter weps. They are also not that blanced between the teams. No shotguns?!??!?!

Game is just a bit too SOFII in pace, I was looking for more of a MOH with better graphics. It can be sort of a spam fest..

Torn on the over all rating for the game.. I have not tried single player yet.. again, I think we will LAN it some but it not going to be new "fav" unless one of the modes I have not tried is KICK ass..
