I had to vent cause I watched the Cooper thing this morning on This Week. Goddamn, the whole thing is so frigging un-American. wtf is wrong with everyone?

First we get a draft-dodging drug and alcohol addict as president over a bonafide war-hero and then we keep our mouths shut while his administration spews classified American secrets that threatens our CIA agents for partisan political purposes.

And when anyone says anything about this, these hypocrites scream "partisan politics" against dissent or even the uncovering of truths to find out what really happens.

I think imma gonna register as a Libertarian cause I'm sick of the whole thing: hypocrite Republicans and wimpy Democrats.

Don't, just don't. All you're going to get out of this is a bunch of tired non sequiters about how you hate freedom.

it's all about the spin... simple as that... and the bottom line is that the Republican machine is just way way WAY better at it..

be that spinning away from bad stuff or spinning the focus away from one issue to another.. Throw in a hard line and highly motivated core of religious conservative that have ate the core out of my Republican party and there ya go..

I very hard to beat combo.. sep I'm sad to say that the negatives that come with it are just huge but again, hard to beat..

IMO Politics is a losing game. It's 100% perception now, and I fucking hate it.

I don't think that's necessarily true, but the way HP states things just makes me want to flame him most of the time.

I agree in lots of respects, actually. You just won't catch me saying that in most HP threads.

"Republicans: Draft-Dodgers & Traitors"

This thread title is a perfect example of how to earn respect and avoid being flamed at the same time.

i like bob dole. he is funne3h.

meh, they can do what they want. we're screwed either way in this bi-partisan system.

really its like flipping a coin, but if its heads= you're fucked, if its tails= your fucked.

i'll vote for the more interesting canidate. JWB is hellava lot more fun to watch then candy cain.

if the rare occurance that a good canidate appears from heaven well then, i'll know the end of the world is neigh, and I wont vote at all. :)

I'd say swartz for pres but we all know thats impossible, so i'll vote for hillary. it'll be funney to watch all the nations laugh at us for being controlled by a woman, much like 99% of the married population.

Works for me. I'd be a libertarian if they were just talking about personal freedom. I'm too much of a socialist to buy into the rest of it.
