holy jesus that was a horrible movie. but daaaaaaaaammnnnnn corey haim was hot!

but it STILL wasn't the movie I was thinking of. I have had a scene from an older movie stuck in my head for 4+ years and I can't figure out what it is. I thought it was rollerball, but it wasn't. All I can describe it as is a bunch of rebel teens with skateboards and rollerblades and they are at some wherehouse section with concrete ramps and a bonfire. *sigh*

David thinks it's search for chin or something or other. but it's impossible to find that movie.

so that is the only reason i rented Prayer of the Rollerboys. Save yourself the pain and don't bother.

itr wasn't in rollerball. the new one isn't 4-6 years old, and i watched the old one. it wasn't that movie. amd it was freaking gleaming the cube either! :(

who are you anyway? the real dan would have told me by know so he can gloat that he knew what i didn't and make me feel stupid. obviously you're not dan so don't waste my time. :P

oh please, like i'm gonna beg you for the info. i'm a freakin film nerd! i'll watch every damn movie with skaters and bladers in it in my quest before i'd ask you for help! (notice i never asked anyone to help me figure out what movie it is? :D )

THRASHIN!!! I loved that movie when it came out. I refuse to see it now though. I am fairly certain it blows rather hard on the replay.

I think the movie you're talking about is called Future Sport, I know the whole movie doesn't concern it, but there is a scene in it like the one you're talking about.

If not I have some other ideas, but that was the first that came to mind.

Holy Sh!T, the search for Animal Chin..... That brings back memories....
Must have watched that vid at least 100+ times back in my "much" younger skater days. We even made up flyers and went skating around Chinatown handing them out and looking for him. Heh, was funny as shi!e seeing the looks of people when we asked if anyone had seen him....

yup. homeless teens and something about revolting against the government. the scene is at night at a makeshift concrete skateboard or rollerblade park in front of some wherehouses.

however, i admit the skaters and bladers may not even be a big part of the movie. the main thing is it's futuristic (for the time) and anti-big brother. which is why i thought prayer of the rollerboys.
