WASHINGTON - A Bush administration proposal to boost payments to families of U.S. troops killed in Iraq, Afghanistan and future war zones saw broad support at a Senate hearing Tuesday, although some Democrats said the plan should extend to all military personnel who died on active duty.

It's a good start, now maybe they should try something new and radical, like buying them body armor so that their families don't have to.

I dont get it, when I see all of the Iraq videos it looks like we have all of the high tech toys and such. To me it seems like they are decades behind us, but yes I still agree that our troops should have unlimited access to armor, weapond, etc.


..then again the democrates would probally whine about how much it would cost!:ROFL: :heart: :heart:

My intent was to inform of somebody finally doing something to to fairly compensate the families of the people dying in the service of our country, who are normally treated to the "Welcome to the poorhouse. Sorry we lost your husband/Father for you....G'bye!" speech.

fuck that, put that money towards their equipment and tell the 9/11 survivors o fucking suck it up! and put that money towards more weapons and armor

I'm all about getting payed properly, but first things first, what do you have to spend it on anyway.. hookers and kids from hookers
