I feel.. I've been denied.. CRITICAL.. NEED TO KNOW information

anyway, yeah, I had no idea this game was out.. I'm a sucker for the dune series as dune 2 was my first rts evar

but now to the meat of the situation

I've just spent a few hours looking for a few.. what one would think are rather simpe things

1 picture of the house atredies crest
1 picture of the house harkonnan crest

at least 200 X 200

I've found a copy from Dune 2.. but it's like this small *what? you can't see me holding up my fingers?*, and let us not forget how pixelated dune2 was. I'm putting the finishing touches on a coupla semi ok gaming systems for my cousins two kids. and well he's a huge dune fanatic.. so I'm trying to setup a niftay theme

one computer is going to be named harkonnan, the other atredies.. and of course the workgroup arakkis.. I have 1 done with a blue light inside, the other will have red.. desktop colors, etc etc etc.. but I think it would kick teh ass if I could have em startup with each house crest.. and have the login screens look like.. well, they are for those particular houses.. heh

tmi here by now I'm sure.. most of that wasn't needed, just what I was after

According to Brian Herbert, the Harkonnen crest isn't a bull. It's supposed to be a griffin, and the House Harkonnen color is blue, not red. I remember being surprised when I read that because it really didn't fit the character of the Harkonnens at all. House Atreides colors are green and black, not blue. Still thought the game was pretty good.

The strategy games have very little to do with the books at all. Pretty much only similarities is spice, Atreides vs. Harkonnen, Fremen, Sardaukar, and a handful of tech things like Ornithopters and Carryalls.

There's no house Ordos in any of the books, and the Fremen play a far, far larger role. And the Atreides end up becoming almost as tyranical as the Harkonnens for a few thousand years.

One thing I thought was especially cool about Battle for Dune was that in the live video all their costumes were like the Dune movie from the 80's. Oh, and having Fremen worm-riders in the came is nifty too.

I figger I'll have to pick up the game sometime.. and probably sometime soon, the first game addiction i had.. well the second, there WAS military madness, but the first one I'd have to say I played and played for hours was dune 2
