I need one. Anyone have one they'd be willing to loan / rent for a week or so?

If nobody else has one, I know a guy with one. I can make a call and see if he would be willing to loan it out for a week. Don't know about timing, though. Do you rototill fields now or in the spring before you plant? Ah well, LMK if you want me to ask.

It's um - not exactly for 'planting', more along the lines of "R/C Car Track Cultivation" :)

That reminds me, though.. Barry, if you're still poking around here, did you ever sell that trencher? Just wondering. I figured you'd not have gotten around to it yet... Not that I'm gonna get around to putting in sprinklers and need it, just wondering if you still had it just in case. :D

I have a roto-tiller...
However, it is not a large one -- so it depends on what sort of thing you wanna do. It does a path about 12" wide, and is effective for chugging to about 8" deep (requires a few passes to get that deep).
We use it for tilling before planting bushes, etc.
Lemme know. I'll trade it for my DVD :D
Looks very much like this:

Thanks Vita, but I'm afraid my yard would bring that little guy to an untimely death :(
Appreciate the offer tho :)
BTW, your CD is in my glovebox of my car - wanna meet up tomorrow after work? Say 4:00 or so?

I have one, but I live probably an hour away from you.

But then you'd be waiting a few weeks (months?) to get it back.:D
Pssst!
(Is "R/C Car Track Cultivation" code for burying a body?)

LOL! Naw, hate to disappoint, but it's legimately an RC track in my backyard. But my back yard is kinda on a hill, and I'd like to level part of it out - make it into a "tiered" track so to speak - well - that's the thought anyway :)

My father-in-law might still have an old one that I actually used on my backyard. We got the thing for like $75 and had a hell of a time starting it. Once we got it started it ran like a champ and chewed up stuff like mad.
You would have to drive down here though to get it. I don't have anything to transport the sucker.
<--- Needs to make sure father-in-law still has the thing.
