Yes, of course, because no Senate lead by Democrats would _ever_ raise the deficit limit!
(hint: A Democratic-lead congress has done the same thing before)
I believe you need to rethink your stand here. Politicians are idiots. BOTH SIDES.

Ahhh....but you assume I am a Democrat.
I think every congress is "democratic lead" considering we are a democratic nation. I think you meant to say Democrat. Slight spelling difference but a significant difference in meaning.
Vote Libertarian!
Fish on! :)

Here is some food for thought:
http://www.cbo.gov/showdoc.cfm?index=1821&sequence=0#table1
http://www.whitehouse.gov/history/presidents/index2.html
Notice the major spike in national debt during Ford's term
Notice the slight decrease or leveling in national debt off during Carter's term.
Notice how the national debt spikes in 82 when Reagan took office. Notice how the national debt continued to grow during his and Bush Sr's terms.
Notice how the debt declined during Clinton's term
Notice how the national debt spikes again when Bush Jr is in office.
It seems there is a correlation, at least in recent history, that indicates the Republican party is typically in office when the national debt rises?

What history book would that be? Give me something more supportive than "I'll save you the strain" to support your opinion.

You see the killbots have a preset kill limit; knowing their weakness I sent wave after wave of my own men at them until they reached their limit and shutdown.
