In case you haven't heard, there are still LANs going on in Chico. Allow me to present

WIRED MAYHEM 1
Friday, October 17th at the Center for Information Technology

WHEN: 5:00 PM til the last person leaves
WHERE: 422 Otterson Drive, Chico
$5 to get in

Details:
CIT was kind enough to lend us the use of their facilities. The lan is being held in a hall twice as big as the one at the fairgrounds and that is completely outfitted with solid non-folding tables and padded office chairs. Off of the main hall are several smaller conference rooms where we are planning on setting up TVs with consoles. The place is wired with a T1 line which we will have access to, as well as a bunch of Cisco switches and other equipment. Currently there are no plans for food but chances are we'll do a big pizza order or something. So anyway, I'll be seeyin y'all on Friday.

NP dude - Unfortunately I don't think I'm gonna be able to make it - well, that is how it looks as of today - ugh - with the hard freeze coming in two weeks here @ work, there are a BUNCH of people tryin to get huge projects in ASAP. I get caught up in the aftermath <sigh>

hey we had a good lan, 30 people showed up and 2 chick gamers one played cs the whole time though. I took some pics so i will have those up on the site soon. so next time you guys have to show up. we are going to try having it on a saturday so that might help a little for the working people that have to drive.
