When I ran SoF2 with XPPro it was nice and smooth on my Viewsonic A90F+.. no ghosting at all. Now in Windows 2000 it seems like it's ghosting. It's not a fps thing.. im getting 100+ of those. Im using a 9800 pro.. any idea why it would ghost (best description I can give is ghosting) in 2000 and not XPPro?

I initially was running a Ti4200 in XPPro.. I used it when I installed 2000 too... but I just recently stuck the 9800 in. It was doing the ghost like thing before the 9800. The new video card didnt change anything.

All these people saying 2000 and XP are the same OS with differant bells and whistle need to be killed.

This is making me want to re-install XPPro whenI get my copy of it back.

Now the damn thing just crashes whenever I open SoF2. Sometimes when I am just surfing.

No LAN for me. I am not bringing this thing to mess with it all dat tomorrow.

I already uninstalled the drivers that came with the new card and installed the new ones. The new ones seem to work worse lol.

I'll buy your spot off you for $10, heh.
Actualy, I probably have an XP disc around here if you want to pick it up sometime tonight. I'm just a little bit up Fair Oaks from Rancho.

If I had a spot you could take it. I was going to pay at the door like the rest.

I appreciate the offer, but I think im going to pass on tomorrow and work on this crap. I think I need to figure out whats wrong instead of installing a new OS. Im not going to learn anything if I do that.

I am making a DVD list BTW. I'll get it to you one of these days. I want to errr "examine" some of thos mentioned previously :cheeze:.

You talk crazy talk, punishable... by death!

Why not install at the lan? Would only take half an hour to get stuff running again. Not much happens at 11am anyways, just alot of sitting around and showin off games. Playing games all day >>>>> *10>> fixing the computer

Why not just arrive at 11am? Theres only ~10 prepaid and after thats, its first come, first serve

Even if I did install it's just going to do the same crap I fear. I dont wanna have to ask for help with it every five minutes when I cant trouble shoot whats going on. Theres going to be more than a few people who want to get in tomorrow who have working systems for me to be screwing with mine for what could end up being hours.

I've no doubt this LANs going to be fucking kick ass too. Who knows.. I may get it working right by tomorrow and show up. Anything possible.

I thought someone had to house sit for the painters tomorrow?
