OMG HAHAHAHAHAHA!!! I don't know what was more horrible to watch, this movie or Spice Girls. IT WAS BAD!! YES IT WAS HORRIBLE, but not in a sense of a horror movie, instead a "OH MY GOD, PLEASE!!! TURN IT OFF" kind of way.
Seriously, all it had is just a bunch of 18 years old running around in "wannabehorrible" costumes, disneyland's indiana jones is more scary than this. The movie had no sense, idiotic plot, and even the narrator himself, who believes is the "all-knowing" is " one time retard."
Do not waste your money on this one, it doesn't even deserve to be rented, HUGE MISTAKE!
They actually filmed the game itself "House of the Dead" and put it into the movie, thinking it was "l33t" or some shit, the director must have been highly drugged, high, or something of that sense.
Again, HAHAHAHAHAHAHAH - the whole theater was laughing at the movie's death scenes.

That's the probelm with modern zombie movies, no idea what made old zombie movies good (if you liked those kind of thing). The whole idea of a zombie movie was a character study and the zombies were always in for some added spice. Having a zombie as a main bad guy is really a bad idea (as is making matrix bullet time of an 80 pound lady jumping in the area fring a shotgun). No shocker on this one.

well there go my movie plans for tonight. *sigh* thanks for the tip.

But there's always Texas Chainsaw Masacre next week!

Say what you will about Jessica Biel in it, the original scared the shit out of me.

a good zombie movie instills the feeling of being trapped with nowhere to run
slow creeping doom
that's all you need

most today try to put FAR too much into it

even resident evil tried.. i'm so glad they killed it quick though (that was my friend, he wants my brain now) no, leave THAT shit alone!

look at day of the dead.. none of that shit goin on.. just trapped, nowhere to run.. you're just fucked... sure you can outrun the 200 behind you.. and dodge the 300 in front of you, but you're going to be doing it for the rest of your life... get used to it

I could have told you that HotD was going to suck the minute after I first saw the preview. The trailer had that overused, old DMX song in it, with cheesy half-assed bullet time. If I was going to drop my $10 to do see a movie tonight, I'd go see Kill Bill. That looks like it has a chance of not sucking. Anyone see that yet?

Kill Bill = pretty damn good. I cant wait for volume two already. 150+ kills in it. Only one person got shot on screen.. and she lived. But the swords and knives were everywhere. Good stuff.

damn right... as I have said before, I still to this day rate buildings on a zombie scale...

To date, I think the best I have found is costco.... Granted, it would be a magnet for other people too but other then that it's perfect. Thick brick walls, NO doors, lots of food and tools and so on.

Costco is good, but you'd have to find one that sells weapons. Second best would be a mall, a la Dawn of the Dead.

You don't have time to "shop" or get wep when the dead are coming back to life!!!! It's only what you have right now, in your home. Come on, that's like a movie rule.. Ya have to dig around in the house to find a wep. Sure Dawn of the Dead they did the sport mart thing but that was to get more, they started out with guns from the get go..

That's right, you go shopping for for weps AFTER zombies rise. BOOO!!! Oh man, if it was not for Duec123's all time anti-movie rule line about needed a "high milage car like a geo" for the road warrior waste land, ya would be number one. :)

That was horrible. I have this disturbing picture of Deuce replacing that lady who tries to make a run from here flipped over buggy.... :sex:

As for rating buildings on zombie rating, its sad I have done the very same thing (of course I have seen Dawn of the Dead 25+ times, NOTLD even more). I go "Too many windows. Too hard to defend." and stuff like that.
