Most excellent! Perhaps you can then help me out. I have a copy of Microsoft Office 2000, including Outlook 2000 installed. Now, on my desktop PC, whenever I receive an email from my buddy, I can see part of it in the preview pane, but when I try to open it, it hangs my system. If I check it on any of my other PC's running Outlook 2k, these messages open fine.
What I have done so far:
1. Wiped my profile and started from scratch
2. Uninstalled and reinstalled O2k
3. Installed all O2k patches
4. Had my buddy send me the email to my other email acct (it worked)
So it seems that it only fails on THIS box, on THIS acct.
Ideas oh wise one?!?

Try seeing if you have Word set as the email editor for Outlook. Goto Tools-Options and the select the Mail Format tab. There should be a check box for 'Use Word as email editor'. If it is on...turn it off. If it is off....turn it on.
My guess is the email is formated in RTF or HTML and Outlook doesn't like it. Somtimes I really hate Outlook...
