Here is a snippet from Insidemacgames.com
A recent post to the S2 Games messageboards reveals the developers of Savage: The Battle for Newerth have their new strategy shooter up and running under Mac OS X. The title, which was just released in mid-September, is a blend of a real-time strategy game with a first-person shooter.
Here's what S2 Games' member Sam McGrath had to say about the porting effort so far:
Mac G4, received from apple:
Monday afternoon
Mac port completed:
Wednesday, 11:30am
Companies that say porting to Mac is hard don't know how to write good code.

Well I guess that a step up from pong.. errrrr of course by the time it hits the market we will have already played it out at the LANs, think we already did at the end of the last LANtro. (not that great of a game) oh well :)
Ah poor apple.. they just can't hang on the dark side of the net at all.. No one will ever market it that way of course but it might as well be a diesel truck.. Sure you can buy gas at a few stations but if you want to be able to steal gas from anywhere you need something that runs on unleaded. :tard:
So you will never see a switch add that goes "I got tired of getting 100's of games and programs free every year by being a dirty thief. I wanted to live more boy scout so I got a MAC. Now I can't steal being there is nothing out there for it to take. I feel better to know my soul is not longer tainted. My name is Biff and I was a pirate."

Ehh, if the game is written in OpenGl, and not Direct X it's usually not too bad to port to OSX/Linux/etc.
But a DirectX game, oh lordie........
Give Micro$oft shit for what they do, but DirectX is a brillient move on there part keeping game developers on the Windows platform. DirectX is really much easier to code for then OpenGL.

Hate those lame arse companies.
Like I heard about this one that tried to make their own OS but they couldnt code worth donkey nuts so they bought out NeXT and just slapped their name on BSD.

Well I did get to see that new (well, new to me) Apple store in the Arden Fair mall the other day.. GOD I HATE THE MALL.. Hate it like drive a truck into the middle of it and go all Texas and just start blasting but I digress...
I will say the mac store has a really clean and cool look about it and at least as far as looks go, those $$$$ lap tops are pimp..
