Well, Murphey's law would support the theory that the tech. will change drastically the moment the charges hit your CC, and your new LCD will be obsolete :poke:
*EDIT* WTF? We don't have the 'poke you with a stick' smiley? I would have sworn it was here... Oh well, I guess this will have to do: :D

Yeah the tech might change, but not in a way that is really going to make your LCD obsolete. It might make it not the best, but it will still be fine. I mean really... the LCD I have for LANs is over 4 years old and it gets the job done.

Oh yeah, and that's a sweet LCD, BTW. I don't really see how you could go wrong with it. I think LCD tech is established enough now that it should be quite a while before it will be replaced by anything. The only thing you have to worry about is seeing it for a couple hundred bucks less in a few years, but I wouldn't sweat that. Just think of the fact that you have it NOW. I wish I could afford one of those nice big LCDs right now, but unfortunately I'm stuck with a meager 15"

Defiant One has the monitor, ask him about it before you buy. It does look gorgeous, however.
I have a pair of FP1800s, and I can't say a bad thing about them. Great LCDs for the price. In fact, you can damn near get 2 and go dual (like me) for the price of that FP1901. Dell's been doing 20% off them lately, so they're like $381 a piece with free shipping.

blah... worst thing that will happened is the price will drop a painful amount a few months later.. It did when I bought my 19 LCD and it will to you too no mater when you buy :)
new tech will of course come out but it will also be the most $$$$ when it hits the market. So even if they did have some killer new LCD's come out, ya going to spend $200-$300 more then the dell to get it? Nah odds are you would not.. So pick up the screen and be done with it.. I love my 19t Dell screen..
going to take it over to a friends house this weekend and make him hate his Sony monitor. He has wanted to get a LCD for a while now but is thinking of spending $400 on a truck bed liner instead.. WTF!?!?!! So I told him I would bring over my screen so he can see one running ON his cpu and put an end to the idea of him not getting one..
Odds are he will buy one with in a few weeks I'm sure..

errrrrr I have yet to see one that did not ghost at all.. I mean mine only slightly does it and even then only on say black on white.. So it's a huge shift..
again, only a tiny bit and you tend not to notice even that after a few weeks.. Just buy it you whore!! heh
