i was looking at the

and was wondering if the 9800 pro came in 256 ram?
i was told they do by two seperate stores and and employees but can not find anything online?
was i FRY'd to by the employees at some COMP(usa)STORES?

And no, there doesn't seem to be a 256 meg all-in-wonder. But you're really better off just buying a tv tuner card seperate from a video card, that way you're not stuck spending an extra $50-100 every time you want to upgrade.

Just today I saw the same card that Area linked to in a Best Buy in Southern California. It was $299.
so is the 9800-256r that much better than a 9600-128r?
i want to see some awsome graphics but i also want to do some video editing.
opinions people? i dont do ATI (nVidia guy) but im willing to give it a shot ;)

Well I was in the same boat. Been an Nvidia guy forever. I got this new card and its pretty fucking solid. Had this probleam of the games locking up, but FROG showed me the way. I had to turn off SMARGART
