Saw it ,loved it.

Cruise was awesome, Jamie foxx, who I hate, was actually good. Michael Mann is truly one of our great living directors.great story, good dialog. my favorite line from Movie (Might be a spoiler)

Foxx- "You...you... Killed him!"
Cruise- "no no, I shot him, the bullets and the fall killed him"

Classic

3.5 out of 5 stars

was going to go see that on Friday night but then remembered how much I HATE going to see films around a bunch of eating, talking, cell phone using jackass' like the sort of that tend to go see films on a Sat night..

So a friend and when and played pool instead.. I give my game a D+ for that night.. as in lame, even if I was using a warped POS house stick..

film does look like a for sure rental.. Will be interesting to see the numbers over the next few weeks to see if Cruise can play against his normal sort of role and still pull $$$$...

Rented it - watched it - thought it was pretty fucking good. HATE Tom Cruise, but he played the part very well. Maybe my thoughts of this movie are tainted because I watched that ASS of a movie called Anchorman first, but it was still one of the better movies I've seen.

It was OK. The interaction between Cruise and Fox was good, but some of the action scenes and story weren't very realistic. I didn't see the point of the one cop figuring it out on his own or whatever (which was a pretty lame standard cop movie story) if he just gets blown away, seemed like a waste of time. Also, the way that the cops and FBI just disappeared at the end of the movie didn't pan out with me.

that is not really even a movie.. It's more like a linked bunch of skits that star Will playing the role of a 70's anchorman.. I thought it was ok... Ya got to admit some of the stuff made ya laugh even if ya did not want to..

Collateral is a very good film.. but then I expect that from Michael Mann...

my HUGE POS film I watched was code 46.. I THOUGHT it was some other film and just rented it blind being 100% sure it was some other film.. whoooooooops.. It should have been a 30-45 min art school short.. Well shot, well acted but still just lame.. blah.. That's saying a lot for me not to like it too being I like most anything.. Even art film..

Yes I have to admit that a couple of the scenes did make me laugh out loud. However, that being said, a couple of funny scenes does not a good movie make :)

Loved the movie and thought it lived up to the hype. I really M. Mann films and this one ranks number 2. Heat is still #1.

^ good point...I feel the same way. Its like they were trying to hard throughout the whole movie. Hate when writers try to make everyline funny. Only one movie I have seen has ever achieved that...Dumb and Dumber
