I don't recall any lag. As a matter of fact I'm pretty sure it was as fast as can be.

But holy shit, the bugs! I managed to drive a truck vertically up a tree,

Official game looks good. No bugs that I saw. I am not sure of the engine. Demo servers only have 100 people total but the othes can have 164? or something lie that. I did have to crank my video to normal and 800x600 (even though it suto detected much higher) to play onlinr at a 64 person server with no hiccups.

No kidding.
Fun to play but man were there some weird bugs.


I was in a jeep that exploded, I got shot into the air and never came down. Had to quit and rejoin.

kinda awesome in the fact that a chopper pilot taht gets used to the idea of being a pilot can ferry troops across those huge expanses and make all sorts of tactical insertions quickly and easily

I really enjoyed the hell out of my time with it. those bugs though were just.. whoah... like the randomly exploding vehicles, and the random deaths by snipers that logged... heh

I must admit, the few of us that were working as a team were making it pretty damn fun. My brother and I were getting ferried up to the front on a chopper and providing fire from the door by a guy who was just flying back and forth moving troops up. We had a few guys setting up mortars and actually waiting for tagets for their artillery. i was a medic and happy to provide support for our side. Unfortunately it was like 10 versus 32 guys as the rest of idiots ran off with vehicles from the start and frolicked about the place like sexually arroused Smurfs.

Demo doesn't have LAN... not sure when the game is out otherwise hell yeah. get some freshness to the next LAN. No more "Bullfrog kills Bunnyslayer" in Raven Shield.
