I have my old desk here that's not going to be used anymore. It's a giant, WW2 era metal behemoth. The weight and amount of metal are approximately the same as a Honda Civic. It's nice, but I just got a new desk. Only real complaint is that when my speakers (well, it was mostly the sub) were turned up, the whole thing would rattle. The top surface is nice, flat and clean. But there's parts of it that are a little rusty, on the underside of the drawers, mostly. Half an hour with a belt sander and it could be really nice. If anyone wants pix, or wants to come look at it, leave a message in here.

Actually I forgot that I had to take it apart to get it out. I might put it back together outside tonight, but for now I'll look for an old pic.

seems that all my old pics of it are of it covered in so much computer crap that you can't see it, guess I'll set it up again

I had it outside today, and as I was taking pictures some guy asked if he could have it. He'd pick it up sunday, but if anyone wants to come before then you'll get priority.

Belt sanders are your friend.

It would make a great garage work desk more than anything else
Ahhh, the memories of working on a desk like that 3 decades ago...
