See, I don't get spammers. How in the hell do they make money? Who buys products from pop-ups? Have you ever hear of one person buying printer ink from spam? Why is nobody doing anything bout these people? I think I heard that spam takes up more than half of all the worlds e-mail traffic. Just like people who buy domain names like Teltubbies.com and make them porn sites. Why would you want kids to see your porn site? They don't have fukin credit cards, whats the point? OK, im done..

I heard some where that spam was so cheap and relatively easy to do that even though they send tens of thousands emails a day, even if just one or two perverts buy that X mini cam, its worth it. Its like only a few cents to just send all of them out right?

It is relatively easy to do and it's cheaper then sending physical 'junk' mail but there is still a cost. It mostly comes from having to harvest legit email addresses if you want a chance to get any takers. They have to be getting more then just a few returns if spammers continue to send out junk. Direct marketing types don't waste effort on stuff that doesn't generate a decent return.

Ask Hoss about this. Someone STOLE his Intel CC and used to to buy like 6 million (er..IIRC) email address - and it cost a grand total of ..... $13 or something ridiculous.

I don't know what is funnier...that it was a Intel CC or the fact they only charged $13 on it.
