After doing a major upgrade to my surround sound system, tonight I picked up a projector. It's used, and came with all the neccesary parts and spare bulbs, but it's lacking a VGA cable. Right now I'm using the S-Video out on my vidcard, but the quality is only acceptable for games and movies. I'm looking for a fairly long VGA cable, at least 10 feet I think, to be able to hook this thing up properly. It needs to be female on both ends.
(Yes, that's a very funny joke you came up with about that last sentence. And yes, we thought of it too. Now hit alt-f4 and run along)

You're last sentence was hilarious.
Did you even notice what you said?
:)
You could always just buy a bunch of cables and just splice them all together.
I've got one. I'll dig it up and try and NOT forget to bring it to the LAN.
You sure it's a regular D-sub female to female cable though? I have a projector also (InFocus LP340B) and it has some whack ass cable to hook it up either DVI or D-sub. But yea, I hear you on the S-video or compsite hookups. So-so, but no good for a TV-out PC to connect to it.

Thanks. But apparently I was tired last night. Both the projector and the card have female ports, so the cable needs to have male. It sure looks like a standard VGA input to me:
