The Subject pretty much says it... I need some cheap 10/100 hub so I can get my home network running. ((((( internet ---->linux box ---> gaming rig)))) I tried masqin my IP with my linux box (with 2 nics) only to find out it wont work because the crappy ISP (my fuckin apartment complex) Give's me a BS 192.68.0.XXX IP addy, and it will only work if they give me a real addy... so I am going to try to do things the old fashioned way now...

Got an 8-port 10/100 hub in my closet. What's it worth to you? A few beers (including the "commission" for Mykul)?

I have about 8 16-port switches coming down the pipe, may be looking to sell or part-time donate them when the time comes. I will make a post in that regard once I have "secured" the goods.

Enervate - I could so most definitely use one of those! So much so, in fact, that I'm gonna PM you.

Well I am trying to decide if I want yours or Vitamans... Giving beer to Mykul is a price I can pay, what you would like however maybe too much.......

Don't know who told you that, but it's not true. You can masquerade with a private address (192...) no problem. I used to do it with a FreeBSD box behind my linksys router (bsd box used a net 10 address for it's gateway) As long as you have a gateway which will connect you to the outside world you should be fine.
