Everyone brings something to the LAN, and we all share the stuff…so there is a large variety of stuff to choose and eat from…

I.e. some people bring chips, others bring soda, and others bring potato salad, etc…lol

Pot Luck is where a bunch of people that are all going to a party each bring one dish or something.

In this case, we will be BBQ'ing [read: Modfather will be BBQ'n] so that kinda gives you an idea of what you should bring.

I will put together a list of who is bringing what and link it to the front page.

Some ideas: Potato Salad, Macaroni Salad, Chips, Dip, 7-Layer dip, Watermelon (is that in season now?), Soda, BEER :cheers:, hamburgers, hotdogs, links, anything else that is "BBQ-Like".

I know I won't be attending since that would mean me having to get in an airplane and finding a place to stay but I just wanted to throw my two cent into this.

A bunch of us at Lan-Gaming.net have done the same for a while and it's a great thing. We have a BBQ and do a bunch of shit out in the sun and then when everyone is stuffed we get to fragging in some games. It's always been great fun and good for a change to a lan party.

Well...I plan on bringing a big ol' bag of lil' smokies, and at least a rack of baby-back ribs, but I claim at least half the rack for myself. Might even spring for some potato or macaroni salad too!

There’s this one side-dish thing I had at the superbowl that was like Dennison’s Chile mixed with Frito’s chips. Sounds kinda strange I know but it kicked major ass. Maybe I’ll bring some of that. I think that probably falls within my realm of cooking ability. I would just hate to bring something like a bag of chips… just seems like too much of a cop-out. Still not sure exactly how I’m getting up there this time though, so what I bring might be dependent on my ride.

A Frito-Boat!! w00t! I always keep a couple bags of Fritos and a couple cans of chili in the closet just in case the wife heads out before she makes dinner! :D I like to add a little shredded cheddar and some tobasco... hmmm....

I might be able to hit Lantro on Saturday, but not sure yet. Just bought a house so all my new gaming is gonna have to be @ nite for a while.....that is why the Valhalla LAN works out for me.

Well after talking to a buncha peeps yesterday, it seems as tho we are going to have quite the mix of foodstuffs to grill.

Therefore, I am going to probably have 2 grills goin - yeah, I got it like that... :) Both will be charcoal cuz quite frankly gas is no different than cooking in your house on your gas range. :mykul:

Anyhow, so go to the local butcher.....you know.....the place that says "You can't beat our meat" and get yourselves some dead cow to throw on the grillzor!!!

Remember, if all you want is hotdogs / hamburgers, those will be supplied. We still need condiments:

Ketchup
Mustard
Lettuce
Tomatos
Onions
Relish

Can someone step up and commit to bring any of this stuff?
