Is there any difference between OEM and Retail CPu's other than the fact one has a 3 year warrenty and the other does not? Let me know guys.

The Warranty Issue and the OEM will not come with a fan…

If you are talking about the 'quality' of the processor...then there is not a a single difference. There is no special picks for the boxed stuff....they just grab stuff out the bins and either clam-shell them for boxed. Or the put them in cpu trays and ship them off. The price difference for boxed is mostly the cost of the packing material and fan. The cost to 'warranty' a product is pretty much part of the overall cost to manufacture. It's kind of like rates for car insurance....IMO.

There used to be a difference where the retail procs O/C'ed better than their OEM counterparts but I don't think that applies anymore.
