Of course to be fair this write up was done back in April before some raider fans decided go to the 49'er game and get into a bunch of fights..

anyways.. thread to get my hater on.. I think they are 1-1 right now (BOOOOO!!!) but hopefully they build up a buffer that really LOCKS a losing record in this season.. :drevil:

Hey now. I :heart: the Raiders right now. Their fans are still in positive mode and I actually get to see the Jets game this Sunday because of it. If this was week 5 I would be screwed by blackout rules.

Yeah Oakland being able to sell out two games in a row is like 63,026 people trolling me all at the same time!! I think I read Oakland had not been able to sell out two game over the last TWO seasons before...

Raiders trolled me hard today.... Come on!! Final drive of the game they are doing the classic "are you even a pro team?" moves like having 12 guys on the field.. YES!!!

Other team makes a catch it near the endzone and spikes it with like 7 seconds to go... Awwwwwww yeah going to lose in the last seconds of the game and they pick the guy off. .BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOoo!!!!!!!111 1111111+11!

Yeah, Hezi certainly has some bragging rights this week. This game was my week 5 upset special and although they tried hard to make me pay for it the Raiders justified my pick at the end.

well that did not happen but being in total control of your own play off destiny and turd'ing it up big time, knocking yourself out of the playoff and ending your season.... Awwwww yeah I'll take it..

Actually they did, and since it turned out we were screwed even if we had decided to beat the Dolphins since Tennessee won it doesn't hurt as bad (Last week was another story). I am torn, since it would of been nice for Hezi and my buddy, but since the Jets don't get to go, no one gets to Go!!!!!

like a horrible post script to the Raider season, being I LOVE that the Raiders can't sell out games and I get a break from the horrible BS that is having TWO "home market" NFL teams.. Robbing me of seeing better "Game of the week" sort of match ups so I can see the Raiders at like 2-12 lose by 74 points at home, again or whatever..

The Federal Communications Commission took the first step today toward elimination of local TV station blackouts of professional football games and other sporting events. The commission asked for public comment on eliminating its own rules that support sports league policies by requiring that games must be sold out 72 hours before kickoff before local stations can broadcast the competition. Cable and satellite operators are also barred from carrying games on out-of-town channels that are out by local stations. Consumer groups and others petitioned the commission to eliminate the rules because they limit access to local sporting events “particularly with ticket prices and unemployment at their current high levels.” The NFL said it opposed any change in the rules. Comments should be submitted by February 13.
