I have to post this here since I can't read my pm's. Has anyone else had the problem that when they log in it says you have a pm and then when you check it the pm is one you got hours ago?
basically, this is what happens:
login
check pm's
ooh! a new pm!
read pm
WTF? this one is old! (yet it clearly was highlighted as new
so now i have 3 pm's sitting there waiting to be read, yet i can't find them. my sent items box and inbox are all empty.
any ideas?

Drink a Widmer Hefeweizen. It's good beer.
That's the best advice I can give.

:D
this is so stupid! this thread doesn't even show up! i had to use the down arrow on the forum page to get here. i think deleting my internet temp files and cookies is what caused this, cause it was fine before i did that saturday. grrness... :(

GM:
Sounds like a "local" thing. This is the first time I have heard of this problem. We use to see that with the old board, but, not one problem since.
MOD, FROG or Silly may have a different view.

1 more thing you can try GM - go into your PM's and hit CTRL + F5. This will force a hard refresh of your PM's.
Very strange indeed.

It's all better. David was telling me how to clear all my internet files (I practically work for Big Brother) and told me to set my internet settings to "never" for checking for updates. So the only way I'd get an update is by forcing it to update the page by dleeting all of my messages..
then i ran out of things to delete.
so i've changed the option back to "automatically" and have to decided to kick david everytime he gives me advice.

you wanted to know
and the never was for storing the files ;P
Maybe some sorta cream will work for the irritation?
(Since I have no constructive advice)
