Well thats probably the worst lan Ive ever attended. I did enjoy the Wii? It seems as though there is a different breed of gamers there. The power issues, the asshole with the racist computer name. Pretty elementary if you ask me. I did enjoy grid though. now that was fun. No more intel lans for me unless they let us run it!!!:puke:

While setting up and getting the network pc to show up I came upon a pc name N....r Do. Now as long as I have been going to these lans not once have I not run into any kind of racist bullshit. Ive had nothing but pleasurable experiences with everybody. Especially the guys from flg. I saw this name and brought the head dude over and to his credit he had the ass change the name ending my concern about it. I just think if they would have policed the network the could have told this dick to change it. Anyway Ill doubt if I go to another one at intel again:mad:

Well to be fair the power issue happened one time and thats because they underestimated that TMC/FLG would be in higher end of the pc gaming rig bell curve and thus plan for the middle of the bell curve. For the next one I'll keep an eye on how much my rig will draw and set that as a baseline to compare for their power requirements in the future, Javier did say that they would of/and will make adjustments in the future.

As for Forcerun's attitude, thats really poor in his part but best to do what TMC does and keep contact to a minimum. That said it was a good lan, food, drink, games and friends were all plenty on hand. Should the same people attend, I honestly believe that it will only get better.

First let me say that this guy is a douche, no doubt about that. But I have to say, this was early on in day one I'm assuming and from the sound of it they handled it appropriately and swiftly. To monitor every PC name on the network, especially day 1 when they are setting up and working out the bugs, would be difficult at best. I really don't know what else you would have liked them to do about it. I would have been fine with dragging the guy out side and beating the shit out of him, but it's an intel event.... they'd probably get sued, pay out some huge settlement, and I'd get my budget cut even further which would mean fewer toys for me. With makes me

:D

They did handle it swiftly which pretty much ended it for me. I thought about going up to the dude ,I suspected was the one but I thought better and moved on.I realize that it would be hard to see something like that right away.It just a shame it happened. Its over and im sure Its not going to happen again.
