I myself hate mouse acceleration. I use low sensitivitys in most games and it really fucks up your aiming. Unfortunately on wireless mouses (cough mx700 cough) they depend off mouse acceleration and if you disable it they fux0r to teh m4x0r. So I play competitive counter-strike (yes i know.. lame as you put it) and i use uber low sensitivitys and mouse accel fucks it up.
Sooo, someone at the CPL made a registry fix for win xp that gets rid of all mouse acceleration (even if you disable it in your drivers there is still some in the registry) And it is very helpful and has improved my aiming alot.
It's a simple registry fix for XP users. So for all of you that don't like mouse acceleration, i suggest you download it.
ftp://www.thecpl.com
The file is called "mouse_fix"
Requires a reboot to take effect.
*Warning* If you use one of the logitech Ifeel mouses or a wireless mouse i suggest not using it since they all feed off mouse accel to work properly.
