This is much better than last year's mid-week ordeal, which was somewhat ridiculous.

I've been to everyone so far, and I'm definitely not missing this one. I think it'll be better than 2 and 3 (1 was hard to beat, what with the open bar and all).

I didn't get to sit next to the other FLGers last year, we should really group up this time I think. I'll be the small semi quiet guy next to all of the large loud fun guys.

Minimum requirement for 8800 gt to run in sli is 450 Watt PSU. You might be cutting it close.

I sold them on ebay. Because it was so close to launch I got over $300 for each of them. I also sold them because my board does not support sli and my quadro fx4600 is faster. Well I just sold my quadro fx4600 for $770 on ebay and I now want to go sli.

the lan was ok at the most, swag won a ton of shit, some of the stuff they did like the food kind of sucked like this morning when they tryed to reuse the food from the days before!! prizes were cool even though i didnt win anything 4 years in a row, but thats cool.. the workshops were pretty cool am gonna try the overclocking stuff i learned about from it

Overall a fun lan. The TF2 tournament was fun to watch, and COD4 seems like a pretty solid lan game. The logistics of the event could have gone better - lame food, loud shitty music blaring at 4am, etc, but considering the amount of prizes they gave away and the variety of events they had at all hours of the day I would say I got my $25 worth. I won 2gb of ram playing shuffleboard with broken video cards at 2am this morning, so that was nice. My luck in the raffles wasn't so great, but Swagger won 4 prizes during the final drawing and some people were getting pissed. I had a good time, and will probably go to the next one if they have it in the bay area.

When Team Oldsmobile rolled up with 5 huge guys all wearing gloves and looking way too ready vs the other teams being randomly formed up the staff decided to break them up into the other teams. Pretty much a dick move on the part of the staff - Swagger, Kickass and the rest were punished for being prepared in advance.

I thought it was a good lan, we dressed iano up in a Nanosuit made out of duct tape, cardboard, bubble wrap, and black trash bags. I didn't think they would get as good as some of them were (regardless of the paintball masks adding winning effects with no effort).

I've had a great time all 4 years so far and I think if they could somehow merge the lan value of this event, and the venue and presentation of the LAST one, they would have the best party ever.

He won #2 spot with his costume, this other guy with a voice modulator box and some lights and other fancy stuff edged him out. He still got decent stuff for #2 though, and they gave him a bonus heatsink or something for doing a quick striptease on stage.
