I've put CDs in the microwave before, they look pretty cool. I was going to try the grape thing too, but I didn't have any at the time.

We did that in college one night when stoned. It was cool. We also did the CD-Rs, the light bulb, the flourescent light, and foil trick.
Here's a page that talks about some more nifty microwave stunts: http://margo.student.utwente.nl/el/microwave/

Pffft, can't you guys see that's iSlak on the picture testing microwave's boundries while inventing a nuclear substance? :D
Add a raw egg & a potato to that "destroy my microwave list".
We put about a 1lb potato in the microwave at our barracks in the Navy and flipped it on. Blew up big enough to crack the window and fling the door open. Micro still worked after that too.

Yeah, taters are bad in a microwave. If you poke them full of holes w/ a fork tho, they cook OK - they just look stupid. Not so good for presentation LOL

L O L, that's tight... i know about sealed substances, but cd's and shit contain traces of metal, which jacks the microwave

the only time metal jacks the microwave is when the electricity arcs through the actual oven and gets into the microwave source thing, whatever it's called. Aluminum foil or whatever just creates a bunch of arcs with itself, so it probably won't cause trouble.
