Ok I am sure everyone now has heard aobut the dude who shot a guy in the chest who was with three other dudes who were taking his shit...

I can't believe the police are arresting him. And the sac pd's official statement is that you cannot defeand your property and life with a firearm. WTF is happening to our country man.... And in the same day up in Roseville the samething happens also but this time the person does get arrested cause she is a cop. Total fucking bullshit. If someone is trying to harm me or my property I have a right to protect it.

Harm you... yes, provided that you were in fear of your life. For a little guy like you that's not to hard to prove, but for normal sized people that pretty much means that if it's 1 on 1, then they better have a weapon.

Harm your property.... sorry man, but not in CA. You don't have the right to use deadly force to protect your car from being stolen. I'm not saying that I agree with it, I don't, but that's the law and any responsible gun owner should know the laws and be prepared to adhear to them before owning a gun. When they don't... it just makes it that much harder to "win over" the anti's. It's just fuel for their fire at that point.

yeah I know I've always been sort of torn if I even go outside and confront someone breaking into my car with my gun. It just opens the door for a range of issues just like what happened to this guy..

If he went out there, the guys rushed him, he shot them.. That might be "ok" . I say -might- being a DA could still go "why did you even go outside? Just call the cops"

but odd are he went out, saw the guys, point the gun, shot one.. ya just can't do that in most states.
