I give this movie a SOLID 7.1 out of 10 Pretty simple story line, takes place in one area, and was pretty cool. Why 7.1? well, I gave the extra '1" becasue it was a good movie that didn't require special effects and A+ for creativety. I mean the whole movie in a phone booth.
I thought that the voice used (Keefer Sutherland) was good, but, it was poorly mixed in with the movie. I mean, we all know it's done in a studio, but when you hear this, it's like, could you at least put a "phone line quality" filter on it. it's waaaaaaaaaaaaaay to "studio" sounding
anayway, I liked the charactors, I liked the story and it's a good dvd to own.

:weirdo: lol. no offense area51, but david and i saw this movie in the theater and could not get over how stupid it was. heh. imo hearing keifer sutherland's voice throughout the movie was the only good point (mmmm..... damn sexy).
however, i fully believe to each their own and i'm glad someone enjoyed it. :D

I liked it just for the idea of making the film is the speed they did.. Nice to see hollywood make something different the then normal rip off of a rip off of a remake of a rip off part two. Want to take bets as to how long until there is a 2f2f like film set on water with jetskis?
Not something I want to own on DVD but worth a rental. Too bad Katie Holmes was not in it more.. ummmmmmmmm....

It was a good movie in my opinion, not bad at all. However, by the time it was over I was under the impression: "That's it? Damn that was fast."
The movie was over before I was done watching it :P

Yeah, but it ended at a good time. It ended right about when I was to the point of "They're running out of ideas." I mean honestly, how fascinating would a movie be about a phone booth that was 2 1/2 hours long? People would fall asleep.
Pretty good movie though.

I liked it. Probably cheap to make, and was a new idea. That gets points in my book. On top of that, I found it pretty entertaining.
Definitely watchable. Netflix Queue ++.

I saw a 'Making of' on HBO of the movie and they did the majority of the filming in like 6 days or something. It was incredibly short. After that it was all post production work. What really hurt the film was it was ready just as the DC sniper started popping people. So they held the release and tried to spin the sniper part in the marketing. Talk about bad timing...
