i can't go ANYWHERE!!!!!!!!

i ran norton 2003, spybot search & destroy, and ad-ware. i also have panicware pop-up stopper running. i can't figure it out. please help. oh, also, i ran a system restore, to before thanksgiving break (when this stupid optimizer shit wasn't happening).

Bullet Proof (http://www.bulletproofsoft.com/) is a pretty good product. This is combination with adware, should fix it

Latest updates + protect. Even more/better immunization - use both. Between this and Spybot you should block most of the popular spyware before it even gets to the machine.

A good HOSTS file.
I have one that is 372kb. Spybot will generate one for you.. There is one on eDexter's site (http://www.accs-net.com/hosts/get_hosts.html). I have one from spybot + a bunch of additions.

Works with your HOSTS file. When a page/image/banner is blocked by your hosts file it will display a small gif. this lets you know that it was blocked by your hosts file. The image is customizable. NOT necessary but helpful IMO.

Google Toolbar (http://toolbar.google.com/)
Blocks popups and is generally just handy. Keeps popups from servers not on your hosts list from infecting you.

And thats it. You shouldnt have any problems, and if you do they should be MUCH more rare.
Regulary update/check/immunize to keep prevention high.
