I'm lookin for an online chess game. I want to be able to go to www.xyz.com/chess, and play a real-time game against another human opponent.

Stats / scores / move lists are not important. Error checking, and move validation ARE, however.

Anyone have any ideas? I checked @ hotscripts.com, but the ones over there are kinda funky.

Perhaps I should have been a bit more clear in my needs. I am completely familiar with Yahoo chess, Pogo.com, zone.com and a couple other "no name" sites that have chess games on them.

My goal is to host, maintain, and play using my own webspace. Yahoo, Pogo, and Zone do not allow that.

Thanks for the effort tho.

check freshmeat ( http://www.freshmeat.net ). you may find something there you like.
