I thought I remember hearing that there is a way to capture the songs as you listen to them using winamp. I saw an option that seemed like it was what was talked about in the mpeg decoder properties, but so far it isn't doing anything? Can someone help me out?

there used to be a plugin for winamp somewhere that did this. one of the people i worked with used to use it to save music from some 80's site he used to stream music from... i think that xmms (for *nix) has this built in as well.
sorry, can't be more help than that.

Super Sound Recorder can record the wave audio played by any windows program. Used it a few weeks ago to capture something off of a winamp internet radio station. No noticable loss of quality. The demo lets you capture 40 second clips.

The person I was talking to about this said that it would download the mp3’s as they played, something like it would read the playlist on the other end and then create mp3 files based on that from the downloaded content.
Sigh, wish I remembered who it was I was talking to about this. Anyway, the recording the wav output is just a little too ghetto for my tastes.
