I actually listen to NPR podcasts. strictly the non-political life story based stuff. they are pretty slanted in their political reportings, although not as bad as some.

what i do find worrisome is that there is a relatively VERY large volume of evidence that FOX, the most trusted by politically consevative watchers network, is more biased than any other - and quite simply its all about ratings as you can see.

what i dont understand though, is that if republicans have been growing more "distrustful" of news the past years, then why do they listen or watch "gossip" shows with ZERO news checkers and call that reliable? i think part of it is a "spin" campaign (the Karl Rove school of media) that has been very successful in working their base and feeding news through those shows -while preying on that distrust to silence the counter-arguments.
