Even though everyone alredy knows this, but i just gots to say it. The Two Towers Special Edition is so kickass :bang: , its so much better than the other one.

yeah but I don't think you're going to get that much better of a deal in some monster pack of all the disks.. It would have to be some some 12+ disk set?

the might throw in some other BS extra disk but with each film packing 2 extra disks now and like 4 commentary tracks per a film, ya migh as well pick them up and enjoy them now. They are running around $25 each and I can't see all 3 films out for less then $75 anyways.. sooooooooooooooo unless ya just think it will be in a nicer box, I say pick them up now.. IMO of course.. I already bought the TT one a few weeks ago but have not watched it yet.. have to commit to a film that long. :)

as for putting out the longer versions.. errrrr torn, I think 3 hours is long enough as is for a theater run of the films. Closing in on 4 would just a bit over kill...

I heard a rumor about some monster $50 deal at iMax when ROTK comes out where you see all 3(!!!) movies, extended editions (yes, ROTK too), lasting a total of like 12 hours with 4 intermissions.... any else heard this?

yeah I heard about that, but I also heard it was in florida, and that it sold out very, very quickly...

though now that you mention it, i'm going to do some research...
