I am so tired of reading news stories with "So and so is speaking under condition of anonymity" blah blaH BLAH. How many babbling schoolgirl idiots are out there talking about crap they shouldn't be talking about. This was the best one so far:

"King said he had been unable to publicly disclose the plot because to do so would risk the investigation. "This is ongoing, that's why I've said nothing about it until now," King said. "It would have been better if this had not been disclosed." "

Well then SHUT THE F**K UP!!! It wouldn't of been disclosed now would it.... asshole. At leas tyou gave your f-ing name, unlike these asshats:

"The officials spoke on condition of anonymity because the investigation is still under way"

"A senior Lebanese security official, speaking on condition of anonymity"

Are all security guys ex-sorority members? Why must they yap off like this?

I wish I could post as Anonymous just to see you blow up.

I can see the headlines now "A Sacramento Male entered a CompUSA muttering to himself about anonymity thwapping people on the head with a keyboard" "He just walked right up to me and hit me on the head" a elderly man said speaking on the condition of anonymity.

I honestly just tried to register "anonymous." It didn't work though...

depends on the situation..

the bad is when you have say mykul looking to pump the value of FLG stock options so he leaks a range of :secret: sounding info just to get a buzz going..

then you have damage control "I can't talk about it but off the record" as in what you see most anonymity stories being.. Reporter comes to me and has warped mykul's BS into that we are going to bring back alchemist. I know the real :secret: is at long last we are going to FINALLY hire a hit man who will not kill the wrong Keith, unlike last time.

but I don't want to say that but I have to say something being the alchemist rumor is even worse then the truth.. so it's off the record spin time!!

"....speaking under condition of anonymity the source said that FLG had no software plans at this time but was looking to make some other changes.... and it would have been better if this whole issue had never come to light...."

I'm against transparent government. The government should be totally opaque and mysterious. Anything less would be to help the terrorists.
