When in April would be a good date for FLG#3? Post your replys so we can get working on the date! Also, any comments on how we can improve things from FLG#2 so FLG#3 just get's better and better and better....
Edit: I pulled a bonehead and put this in the read-only section....sorry about that! :hittard:

At this point, i'd say any date other than the weekend of April 12th would be good.
Other than that i'd say more gig ports would be cool. I know last lan we were really pushing the limit (and beyond) of what 100mbit could deliver.

I am working on getting some gig-copper introduced...biggest limit though is making sure we can uplink to the fiber gig backbone. But like I said...I am working on it!
For a date....I would say we are looking at mid / late April. Basically sometime after the 12th. ;)

I am having a tiny ass lan on the 16th, but because that is a wednesday, any weekend date will not interfere with me. :)

I am hoping Mikey comes back to life soon so we can post some pictures. I got some from GNR but I don't remember the setup to post to our gallery! :hittard:

Yeah, I forgot to say, those were actually taken by my friend Nol. Just want to make sure credit goes where it's due.
You can check out the pictures yourselves If you want.

Gonna sound like a stupid question, never been to a FLG Event but some people might know me from Lantrocity, where is this event located?

Well....NO one is really sure WHAT his problem is but that is another discussion. :cheeze:
I traded some messages with him last week and he is still feeling pretty crappy. How crappy you ask...well he hasn't even hooked back up his system at home yet. That is how bad he still feels. Hell....I caught a touch of something myself last week and I am still feeling it today.

Everyone around me has been getting sick. My family got it about 2 weeks ago or so, and it shut them down for about a week. A lot of the staff at LANtro has been getting sick too. I've managed to not get sick so far.
I think at this point, I’d be more likely to overdose on vitamin C than get sick. Seems to work though, being that I’ve been the only one in my family who has been taking vitamin C and I’m pretty much the only one who hasn’t gotten sick.
Hope modfather gets better asap.

yeah I bet being holed up in your room, on the cpu, never talking to them helps also :) Heck 80% of the reason I do not get sick much is just not being around sick people. Of course for those of you with Kids there is just no escape if little Timmy gets something and with schools so packed, no way they escape catching stuff all the time. Errrr well the kiddy "Yeah take a bite of my candy bar, now give it back" seems not to aid in stopping the spread of stuff...

Please don't get me started on the 'what the hell kind of illness did my child bring home from school'. I know for a fact that when I signed all the different waiver forms. There was no check box that said 'Illness - send home with child ASAP'!
I have been fighting off whatever this crap is for the last week and like you Deadlamb I don't get sick much. This thing just will NOT let go.
